The body of work developed by Gastone Rinaldi during his time at Rima and, later, at Thema highlights his long and methodical investigation into the concept of seating. Through the development of cantilevered structures, metal rod and tubular frames, electro-welded mesh, and folding, disassembly, or stackability systems, his designs reflect a continuous evolution of the balance between functionality, ergonomics, and aesthetic value.
